I had the opportunity to catch The Amazing Spiderman on Friday with Debs courtesy of OMY Singapore and Shaw Theaters! Its the second time I watched the movie, the first at The Cathay in 2D and now at JCube IMAX!

About Shaw JCube & IMAX
Shaw Theatres Singapore launched their latest multiplex at JCube in Jurong East in April. Featuring 7 screens and Singapore’s 2nd IMAX theatre!
Boasting 1001 seats in total, the number of seats for the hall is 159 for 2D and 124 for 3D.
So after all the numbers and figures, what on earth is IMAX?
IMAX’s Digital theatre system is basically the world’s most immersive movie experience.
Recognized as one of the world’s highest-quality and most immersive cinematic experience ever created, movie fanatics are willing to wait two to three weeks for seats to the IMAX versions of a major blockbuster like Transformers: Dark of the moon, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol at Shaw Theatres LIDO IMAX!
Having already caught the movie in 2D, I must say that I was really impressed with the IMAX version in 3D! Not only are the screens a lot bigger, but I am also a huge fan of the sound system! Watching it in 3D is a totally different experience as you really feel like you are part of the movie and every detail is crystal clear!
Overall, I really loved the experience and I know where I’ll be for The Dark Knight Rises come 19th July(:
