Landscapes From The Shores Of Mt Batur

Mt Batur, Travel Indonesia, Bali, Jamie Chan, No Foreign Lands, Leica, Landscape, Worker

An hour and a half up north by car from Ubud lies Mt Batur.
You will find plenty of sunrise treks up the mountain from Ubud which is apparently highly recommended. Unfortunately, you will not find any form of sunrise photos here since I could not find the strength in myself to wake up at 0400 – 0 being 0MG what ungodly hour is this?

That said, if you have a car/ some form of transport, you will most definitely want to explore the tranquil surroundings of Mt Batur and take in its landscape and lovely people.
There are some really wonderful organic restaurants dotting the surroundings and you can even visit Kuburan Terunyan although I suggest that you give that place a miss.

Enjoy the landscapes, shot on a Leica M-E with a 35mm Summilux.
